Comments: Each fall, the rut brings out the wild side of most White-tailed Deer bucks. Brushing some of their secretive habits aside, they give a wildlife photographer a chance to at least see them before they disappear. This shot was taken just before sunset and shows a mature buck mid-leap as he crests a hill.
