Fleeting Visit

Comments: High on Andrew’s Bald in Great Smoky Mountain National Park, I found a small population of Turk’s-Cap Lilies growing in the short grass. While photographing the flower, I was lucky enough to capture a brief visit from a Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly that was in search of a nectar meal.
